Cristiano Ronaldo  admits Real Madrid are lacking some things ahead of Champions League quarter finals:-

Cristiano Ronaldo has revealed that Real Madrid still feel they're lacking something, despite qualifying for the Chmpion League quarter finals.

The Spanish giant slipped past on tuesday to complete a 4-0 aggregate win that didn't tell the full story of an even tie or a poor display by Madrid at the Bernabeu.

And the 31-year-old was clear over what his side must improve looking towards the last eight:

We are still lacking a few things Ronaldo told reporters.

We're lacking consistency, a bit of luck, a bit of ambition but if we keep going like this we're on the right track now.

The veteran Italian, and one of the finest central defenders of a generation, has come up against both players in elite competition both at international and club level while he holds the Real Madrid  forward in high regard, there’s no doubt over where ranks Messi in comparison when he was asked how to defend against either.Knowing your opponent is fundamental he told eurosport Italia.Because then you can know their characteristics better.With  Cristiano  Ronaldo you mark him trying to not let him inside on the right.
